Your close friends become your worst enemies. Your boyfriend becomes an ass.
Lollipops turn into cigarettes.
The innocent ones turn into sluts.
Home work goes in the trash.
Mobile phones are being used in class.
Detention becomes suspension.
Soda becomes vodka.
Bikes become cars,
Undies turn into g-strings.
Remember when getting high meant swinging on the playground?
When protection meant wearing a helmet?
When the worst things you could get from boys were cooties?
Dads shoulders were the highest place on earth and mom was your hero?
Race issues were about who ran the fastest.
War was only a card game.
The only drug you knew was cough medicine.
Wearing a skirt didnt make you a slut.
The only things that hurt you were skinned knees and goodbyes only meant until tomorrow?
And we couldnt wait to "grow up."
there comes a time when you realize who really matters, who never did, and who always will.
in the end you will learn who is fake, who is true, and who would risk it all for you.
