The Rest..

So.. I was looking at my blog the other day and I realized that I never remembered to finish telling about the rest of my spring break!

Basically I didn't do a whole lot, but I did get to hangout with Kels quite a bit and that was lots of fun, because after all she is my best e-town friend! We always have lots of fun together and it is always bound to be a great time. We always find something crazy to laugh about.

This time the story was that I am an idiot, because on our spur of the moment trip to hunan I decided to try and run a red light. However, Kelsey's favorite part of the story was not that I tried to run the red light, but that I first stopped at the red light AND THEN proceeded to drive off. You know how at some lights one side turns green before the other, because they have the arrow?? Well that was the case at this light, and I am not quite sure why I felt that it was okay for me to go yet, but I did. Don't worry though Kels stopped me before I got too terribly far and then it was all a good laugh.

Aside from that Kels invited me to go to Randolph with her on Thursday night to watch some of their family friends the Andersen's in a play. (it was so darn cute!)
Soo I got to see a few of my good Randy town friends and that definitely made it a fun time!

The last thing that made my spring break nice was Jaymie coming. I was really bummed on Friday, because there was a HUGE snow storm (surprising, right?) and she could not make it. I thought for sure that she just wasn't going to get to come, but she is an amazing friend and she came on Saturday even though it was only a day.

Jaym came and it was a fun time even though we really didn't have time to do anything. I feel bad she probably will never come back again! : ) I assured her that summer in Evanston has way more to offer!!

Anyways.. here is a few pictures from our day together over the break!

This about sums up the rest of my Spring Break. It really wasn't anything too terribly exciting, but it was definitely worth while!

Now I am just counting down the days until Easter break and then after that I will be counting down the weeks until summer break!! Oh who am I kidding, I am already counting that down. (6 weeks) Ha ha! YAY! : )

Also.. I am just trying to look at the bright side of life. Those of you who know me know that things have not exactly been going "my way" lately, and I have been terrible about looking towards the light. I am from here on out going to try my hardest to do better at being a positive and optimistic person at all times. : D

PS..
I told you all that I would get better about updating my blog quicker!! I showed you all, right??!! : )

This is a portion of my very large and amazing group of friends that I spend a lot of time with in Laramie! They are literally some of the best people I have ever known and some of the greatest friends I have ever had! I am very grateful for them, indeed!

Want to know something pretty cool? I bowled a 139, which is the highest game of bowling that I have ever played! It was amazing. Especially considering that usually I don't bowl even over a 40-60. Haha! : )

So that was Thursday!

Friday; I drove home by my lonesome and came home to an empty house. You may be thinking this is a lame way to kick off your spring break, alone in your house without your family or anyone, but I really didn't mind it. Brian was at state, Alex was not home yet, and mom and dad were in St. George where they always are. Sometimes having alone time is a good thing for me!!

Saturday; Peej & I decided to make Cindy a birthday cake considering that it was her birthday. Even though she would not get the cake until Sunday, because she was out of town with the rest of her family. [see I am not the only one who comes home to an empty house!]

We went to Angie's house and Saige ended up helping us come up with an amazing design for the cake and the outcome of the cake. It ended up looking really cool, but it took a lONG time!! 7 hours to be exact. We started at 5 pm and did not finish until 1 in the am! Well worth the time spent though. It's nice to do something fun for someone you truly love! <3

This is how the cake ended up turning out!

Here is a top view of the cake. On the foil it said "Happy Birthday Cindy 45" It really turned out great and we were all pretty proud of our work! Cindy really likes sunflowers and that was the inspiration for doing that!

Peej said that his family ended up really liking the cake, and especially Cindy! It also tasted really good too according to Peej, which is a huge plus!!

Sunday; Lounge day.. nothing special! Got to see Kelsey though! Had a nice talk with Simone. She is my favorite! I love that girl! We made some plans to hangout later on in the week! We MUST follow through with these plans!

Monday; [today] Hair cut.. tanning.. more lounging! I like having nothing to do!

The countdown?

Soo I have offically decided that it is time to start counting down to SPRING BREAK! Now I am not really sure why I am counting down, because I know that when spring break does get here it is going to go by in a jiff and I will be sitting right back here in my dorm at my desk in Laramie saying.. "wow" what a quick week that was. But I do just like having something to look forward to I guess!

There is a few things that have been going on since I have last wrote. Mostly I have just been Crazy busy. These last 2 weeks before spring break have been kicking my butt! I have so much due for classes and so much going on! Plus I am soo totally NOT focused on anything, because I am so anxious for the break to start!

I am excited to go home this weekend, but I also am not excited for the weight that is put on me every time that I go home. I like to think of it as the weight of sadness. Sounds lame, but there is just still a few things that bring me down when I go back there. Now this is not my family or anything to do with them, but those of you who know me well know exactly what I'm talking about.

Sometimes I just wonder why certain things in life are so dang hard to get over. I'm thinking positive and hoping that this very big storm cloud that has been raining on my life for so long will soon pass!

I think that this is probably about all I have to say. Except that Thursday me and all my friends here are going bowling as a last time hangout before we don't see each other for a week. We are kind of like a crazy little family, and we miss each other soo much when we go home even for a weekend. I can't imagine how it's going to be to be away from my new family for a week. And then the summer. Ohh this is going to kill me!

It is so weird to think that Laramie, the place that I once hated has brought so much to offer for me. I think it is truly time that I say I LOVE IT HERE! Although it is always a really fun and good time to go home too! Because, well.... home.. is home! : )
